
Yaghvali received her ballet training in France with national and international teachers. She studied different schools of classical ballet (French School, Vaganova, Bournonville, American School). She also trained in contemporary and modern dance. She has worked in France, Italy and in London both as a freelance dancer and choreographer, and as a member of different companies. In the meantime, she certified as a teacher (Diploma in Dance teaching, BBO, UK; Diplome d’Etat de Professeur de Dance, France) and taught in schools.
In 2010 she moved to London and dedicated herself to teaching. From 2017 until 2019, she took the position of academy coordinator and full-time ballet faculty (ballet, Floor Barre®, Pilates, Pas de Deux/Partnering) for SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance).
Yaghvali discovered the Zena Rommett Floor Barre® technique for herself in London and annually takes part in the Floor Barre® Teacher Seminar held by the Zena Rommett Foundation. She is a certified Floor Barre® teacher since 2011.
She taught both ballet and Floor Barre® in London, working with the Michael Clark Company, the London Theatre School and as a private and freelance teacher. She taught as a guest teacher across Europe : Conservatoire du Valais (Switzerland), SEAD (Austria), Académie de Danse Lyon 7 (France),Skating School of Switzerland (Switzerland), Luciane Neves School of Dance (UK), Limoges Summer Intensive (France), Fuoricentro Danza (Italy), Institut de Danse du val d’Aoste (Italy), PERA GAU (Cyprus) and in Canada (Calgary, Alberta).
During her time in Salzburg she was the choreographer for the DCompany!, a youth company with which she created 3 pieces in collaboration with Jovana Zelenovic.
She is also a BTEC qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist (ISRM), a certified Pilates instructor (CTT Basi® Pilates) and has earned both Bachelor and Master degrees in Arts History and History at Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France)/Università della Tuscia (Italy), a Dance Science MSc at Wolverhampton University (UK) and a Master of Art and Culture Management with the Rome Business School. She is currently studying Complementary and Holistic Therapies as part of the Higher International Diploma with the School of Natural Health Science (UK).
She is a member of The Dancing Body team, a series of practical and theoretical workshops aiming to offer dance practitioners an understanding of the human body, as a knowledge that is vital preparation for a career in dance.
